His Story

As a male advocate for menopause awareness in the workplace, I initially felt out of my depth. But through the training I received and the conversations I’ve had with colleagues, I realized how important it is for everyone, regardless of gender, to engage in this dialogue. One of the most impactful moments for me was when I first spoke about menopause in a mixed-gender meeting. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and it highlighted how starting the conversation can break down barriers and encourage more inclusive discussions. It’s about creating a workplace where no topic is off-limits, and everyone feels supported.

On Menopause at Work

Supporting menopause at work is crucial because it directly impacts employee well-being and retention. In my experience at EY, I’ve seen how open discussions and targeted support can empower women to stay engaged and productive during this significant life stage. It’s about creating a workplace where everyone feels understood and valued, which ultimately benefits both the individual and the organization.
