His Story

I was asked last year by a friend what I thought of when I heard the word Menopause. My immediate response was Men-On-Pause: if you're a man, please stay away and leave me alone. I'm dealing with fog, hot flushes, fatigue and low energy. The term Men-On-Pause was introduced at the first What The Fog conference last year to great laughter. I taught me I had a lot more to learn about the subject! I have every intention of re-introducing the term but with a totally different connotation: why don't we men just pause for a second and think about how menopause affects women and how we can be supportive at work, at home and in society.
