Remove the muddle around Menopause: Introducing MenoVest™

MenoVest™ is the world's only menopause simulator, allowing people to experience the disruptive physical, cognitive, and emotional symptoms of hot flashes.

It has been designed to encourage intersectional conversation, engagement, and allyship around menopause. It has been worn by politicians, news anchors and talk show hosts, male managers and colleagues in organisations, globally.

The Menopause Space can help spread awareness and knowledge around Menopause at your organisation with two-hour or four-hour workshops designed to deliver awareness, allyship and change to your organisation.

Contact us for more information and special offers before 30 November!

Meet our Charity Partner

The Menopause Space is proud to support The New Normal Charity, Hong Kong.

TNN offers free mental health support in the community through peer support groups, events, workplace training and resources. TNN events and meetings are run by passionate, trained volunteers who have lived experience in a variety of topics including loss, LGBTQ, cancer, movement and men’s support.

Everyone is welcome to join groups to support their own mental health.

Did a specific topic capture your attention toDAY?
We’ve got you covered!

  • Our mission is to educate and empower everyone impacted by menopause. We do this by breaking down barriers of conversation, speaking about the taboo around menopause and promoting physical and mental wellbeing for persons directly impacted by menopause in an equitable and inclusive manner.

We aim to do this through free evidence-based resources for individuals, education and training for health professionals, and community engagement. We also engage with organisations as they play an integral role to provide resources, increase awareness and offer training to their employees.

  • Becoming more aware of menopause is a great way to become more menopause friendly. This will naturally encourage organisations to find ways to help in this transitional phase of life.

Menopause inclusive organisations often check the following boxes:

Educating staff, managers and leadership to understand how an individual could be affected by menopause will allow for conversations about the topic in the workplace.

Provide training. Many people who are going through perimenopause may be unaware of the symptoms.

Offer other measures (as appropriate), such as free resources, mental health support, a uniform policy, wellbeing leave, or access to suitable care through insurance.

Get in touch to find out The Menopause Space can assist your organisation in becoming more menopause inclusive.

  • First, be kind to yourself and check in often.

Second, take note that everyone experiences menopause differently. Your symptoms may not be mirrored by your friends or family members, but we encourage you to ask for support and to share your experience.

You can use a symptom tracker to see what is affecting you, and to what degree. We have found that taking the symptom tracker to a health care professional allows for a more productive conversation, and can lead to better referrals.

Keep learning. You may find lifestyle and nutritional changes that help you to manage your symptoms.

Not all practitioners specialise in menopause (and that’s okay!) but it’s important to be knowledgeable so that you can advocate for yourself and get the appropriate treatment.

  • Contact us through our website, or email info@themenopausespace.com. We’d love to talk to you.

  • Menopause and women's health issues often seem to be overlooked, as if they're just a footnote or an asterisks. Instead of considering menopause as a possible cause, women are more likely to be diagnosed with depression or other health conditions.

Through What the Fog*, we are shining light on this crucial phase in our personal health journeys. It's time to elevate the conversation and bring menopause from the sidelines to the forefront, where it rightfully belongs.

See you next year!
